Beyond Concrete (2017)
This work is about looking at what is beneath the man made. An investigation of site, but also an investigation through site. Once we notice something, can we un-notice it? How many different ways can we notice it? Multitude of angles, images and sounds make up a documentary of an ancient ruin left to fade out without recognition. Rubbish and polluted waters thrust upon ancient basalt rock. This project explores hidden histories, and how a modern community engages with land within an urban surrounding.
